Also within minutes are the lovely Thermal hot springs and baths at Tokaanua the beautiful Turangi golf course, many fantastic walks and horse trekking. Also close buy is the Turangi trout hatchery, where a great display of the history of trout fishing in NZ can be seen plus trout fishing lesson for children in special ponds by arrangement.
Winter activities Ski fields are a 25 min drive away at the beautiful Château Tongariro and the Whakapapa and Turoa world class ski fields.
