The group is a support and self-help group for stutterers (having had speech therapy not a prerequiste) and offer friendship, information and social contact.We meet usually at George Street Normal School (though occasionally elsewhere) from 7.30pm to approx 9.30pm including supper. Members take turns at holding the meetings and the programmes are anything and everything that gets us talking to practice fluency.
Andrew (our president) has left us for the greener pasturers of Christchurch but still intends to stay involved with the organisation. Best of luck with the move and settling in.
The end of year is fast approaching, there is even Christmas decorations in some of the shops - seems far too early to be thinking of that! With that there is not many meetings left till our Christmas Do, if you want to come and see if the group is for you, you'll have to hurry.

Nov 12 and 26th (provisionally Christmas Do)
